Founded in 1963 in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Adega Cooperativa de Murça (Caves de Murça) brings together local grape growers from the mountainous sub-region of Cima Corgo.

Located at higher altitudes with distinct granite and schist soils, the winery benefits from microclimates that yield grapes with remarkable natural acidity, aromatic concentration, and freshness.

Their winemaking philosophy focuses on honoring centuries of Douro heritage through sustainable viticulture and meticulous blending, showcasing native varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Rabigato.
