Terre di Valter
Terre di Valter produces refined, family-crafted Irpinia wines in Campania's volcanic hills.
The producer
Founded in the heart of Irpinia at Torre le Nocelle, Terre di Valter was created by Valter Landi and is carried forward by his children, Emanuela and Roberto.
The estate sits on high-altitude, clay-limestone and mineral-rich volcanic soils, specialized in native Campanian grape varieties, most notably Aglianico, Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, and Falanghina.
Their winemaking philosophy balances respect for traditional Italian viticulture with sustainable practice, practicing minimal human intervention in the vineyard to let the unique terroir of the Taurasi growing area shine through.
From hand-harvesting late-ripening Aglianico grapes to meticulous double-sorting in the cellar, Terre di Valter focuses on balance, elegance, and structure across iconic labels like their Taurasi DOCG, Irpinia Campi Taurasini, and Ventiduemarzo.
