2019 – Barao Rodrigues Grande Escolha

Barão Rodrigues Grande Escolha comes from Herdade do Menir, an Alentejo producer near Montemor-o-Novo whose Barão Rodrigues range was created for distinctive Reserva, traditional single-varietal, and limited-edition wines. Made from Syrah and Aragonez, this 2019 red shows black fruit, ripe fruit, and a subtle smoky touch from barrel ageing, followed by polished tannins, ample body, strong presence, and a generous Alentejo finish.
