WINNER OF GOLD – WINES OF PORTUGAL COMPETITION
WINE ENTHUSIAST 91 POINTS
Falcoaria Red comes from Quinta do Casal Branco, a family estate in Almeirim held by the Lobo de Vasconcellos family since 1775. Named after the royal falconry once practiced on these lands, this emblematic Tejo DOC wine blends Alicante Bouschet, Castelão, Touriga Nacional, and Cabernet Sauvignon, with grapes from vineyards up to 50 years old. Aged 13 months in French oak, it shows bright red colour, black fruit, blackcurrant, prune, floral notes, powerful tannins, structure, persistence, and strong ageing potential.
