Tasting notes: A full-bodied, complex red from the Douro Superior, offering concentrated aromas of ripe black fruit layered with liquorice, spice, violets, bergamot and rockrose. Eighteen months in French and American oak add subtle depth, complementing the wine’s expressive fruit and floral character. The palate is rich yet elegant, with fine tannins that combine firmness and suppleness. A long, fruit-filled finish reveals excellent potential for further ageing.
