Valle Pradinhos Touriga Nacional Grande Reserva comes from Casal de Valle Pradinhos, a family estate established in 1913 in Macedo de Cavaleiros, Trás-os-Montes. Grown on schist soils with clay and quartz, this limited-production 2019 Grande Reserva is made from 100% Touriga Nacional and aged 16 months in new 500L oak barrels. Concentrated and elegant, it shows violet tones, fruit, floral and spice notes, a subtle minty lift, fine fresh tannins, excellent volume, solid structure, balance, freshness, and a very persistent finish.
